school meals
Our school meals are cooked each day in school by Leeds Catering team. They are nutrionally balanced and freshly cooked.
School Grid: School dinners are preordered by parents/careres and the children at home using School Grid. School Grid offers flexibility to parents/carers so that pupils can have school meals on every day of the week or just on certain days: the choice will be yours.
Orders can be placed on a daily, weekly, monthly or even termly basis. Same day orders can also be made up to 8.55am. Please be advised if you do not pre-order your child’s meal, they may not get the meal of their choice.
Allergies: It is extremely important that you register with the school office any allergy or dietary needs that your child may have. Once this is complete, dishes that contain allergens unsuitable for your child will then be blocked. You will be able to see all the allergens in recipes and parents of diabetic children will be able to see the carb counts.
Lunchtime in School: The children will select their name on a touch screen at the point of service in the hall at lunchtime. Their meal choice is then displayed, as well as their dietary needs to the catering staff. If any of the dishes on offer that day are not safe for your child, the catering staff will be notified.
Payments: Children in Year Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 do not pay for school dinners as all children in these year groups are entitled to Universal Free School Meals.
For children in Years 3 to 6, a school meal costs £2.75 per day or £13.75 per week, unless children are entitled to free-school meals (please contact the school office if you believe that your child may be eligible).
Payments must be made on ParentPay, please remember that this can take up to 30minutes to sync with School Grid.
Please be advised that the system will not allow you to pre-order if your account is in arrears of more than £13.75.
For children in Years 3 to 6 who are entitled to free school meals, you will still need to log onto School Grid to pre-order your child’s meal but there will be no charge.

SCHOOL MILK
Our school milk scheme
Our school provides a milk scheme that is available to all of our pupils and we would like to invite you to register your child. School milk is free for under-5s, and for over-5s it is available at a subsidised price of 28p per day.
Each child that registers with Cool Milk will receive a 189ml portion of semi-skimmed milk every day, delivered fresh and chilled to the classroom. Their school milk will not only provide them with essential nutrients, but as it is rehydrating and energy boosting it also bridges the gap between breakfast and lunch to help children stay focused.
